You spend so much time sourcing, testing, melting, and pouring that photography always seem to be at the end of your to do list (and maybe just never gets done). That’s where I come in!

We’ll work together to tell your scent stories and capture your candle’s personality. After a discovery questionnaire, I’ll develop a mood board, source props and style the perfect scene for your brand. Whether that’s cosy and comforting, nature inspired, bright and refreshing or something else entirely. Your photos will be crafted with your ideal customer in mind.

I have a variety of packages to choose from which can include lifestyle shots, banner images, studio cut outs and seasonal content so you’ll be all set to give your shop and socials a makeover in no time!

CANDLE Photography FAQs

  • I’m usually booked around 8 weeks ahead but you can book in for future shoots if you have a specific launch in mind. Even if I have availability I’d recommend a minimum of 4 weeks to allow for planning.

  • I have a huge selection of props and backdrops available but you’re more than welcome to provide some of your own - I love collaborating on the styling to bring your brand personality to life. If we need any perishable props, for example fruits and florals to match your home fragrance scents, I’m happy to source these so they’re fresh.

  • I’ll only light candles if you ask me to. Lots of my clients keep seconds aside for photoshoots so they don’t waste too much stock, or they might keep the ones I’ve lit to use as a sample on a market stall.

    You can label candles that are for lighting, or if you don’t want any lit we can create a cosy atmosphere by posing with a match as if to light the candle. Showing candles lit definitely adds some magic to the photos, but I understand that you might be on a budget so don’t want to use extra stock.

  • Many of my diffuser photos are with water rather than oil!

    It depends on the colour of your diffuser oil on whether I’d recommend this. I understand you might want to save expensive essential oils, but if your product looks different in the photos to real life, customers may be confused or disappointed.

  • You’ll typically receive your gallery of images in around 2 weeks. If you have a deadline, please let me know at the time of booking so I can make sure I can accommodate this.
